Liberty Alone

I think I really have NADD (Nerd Attention Deficiency Disorder).
Not as serious as some, but its still there.

Currently I have more tabs open in Firefox than I can be bothered to count. I’m listening to music (occasionally flicking to the lyrics or Wikipedia article about the album). I have the work IRC channels open. I obviously have email open (oh, new mail apparently).
I even have several windows for work open, and I’m thinking about two different things I have to do today.

In the time its take me to write this I’ve started checking for software updates and am thinking about checking on the status of my BOINC client (there’s some rather cool projects from climate modelling, through molecular modelling and medical research to analysing malaria patterns in Africa).

Yes, I think I do suffer from this ailment.

Having admitted extreme geekyness in the comments (both watching a film in ASCII rendering and the film be ‘The Princess Bride’) I though I’d share with you the most awesome demo ever and the library used to make it:

The demo is BB, the library is AAlib.

It is mostly a product of geek humour, but the results are great. Unfortunately I havn’t got BB running on Windows XP.
