Liberty Alone

There’s some really good things going on at the moment amongst the LibDems. I think our resident bureaucrat expresses them very well.

I think that whoever wins, they will take us forwards, defining liberalism for ourselves, not having the Tories or Labour define it. I may at times disagree with some of the conclusions of both candidates, but fundamentally I think they’re on the right track and both are capable of leading the party forwards towards an expression of even more liberty and defining our ground.

On things the candidates have been saying I see Chris Huhne has attempted to lay to rest some of my concerns and there are rumours that Nick Clegg is up to speed on LVT.

I’m getting more and more optimistic about the future of the LibDems as a broad based, but radical, voice for liberty.
