Plus you used the word that seems to define this Brave New World.. infantalisation. A culture that values youth, can't have it, so settles for immaturity and simply behaving like kids instead. One is that the subject finds him/herself exposed to this kind of illogical shite, thus reducing motivation to get up and continue economic and social interaction with the rest of mankind - and that's before Thought for the Day has even begun. Anyway, looking forward to Liberal Drinks tonight; I plan to have several pints of calorific lager safe in the knowledge that it's all the fault of 'modern life'.
