Ming at PMQs, Iain Dale misses the mark

Rather unsurprisingly, given his love of trashing the LibDems, Iain Dale missed the mark when it came to the reaction to Brown’s first PMQs (although he has the decency to concede that the media reaction differs from his)

I agree that PMQs has not been Ming’s strong point, but having heard the exchange I do think it was a rather good response to Gordo’s avoidance of the question (something he hasn’t sought to change I note). And its not just the mainstream media who liked it, even Guido called it a slap down.

Of course, Brown will give up on this new image after a while and get back to the ‘clunking fist’ and I’m sure Cameron’s ploy will be to get him to lose his temper, then Ming will have to play things carefully since the goading is not his style, or what the LibDems want to portray.
At least this first PMQs should help put a stop to some of the muttering going on that Ming is too close to Brown.
