Cleaner Engines

More efficient internal combustion engines.

The above link tells of advances in the good old internal combustion engine. The change is to allow fine tuning of the air and exhaust valves allowing better fuel mixes to be created, leading to more efficient combustion and therefore less fuel usage and polluting emissions.
This sounds great, and very promising. I can envisage a system being developed which determines the optimal fuel mix for different types and qualities of fuel on the fly.

  1. I would like to invite you to read my 5/10 post, “Hybrid Cars, the Green Myth.” The internal combustion engine is a dinosaur that is not allowed to die.

The disingenuous bovine fecal matter distributed by Dubya, his administrative leaders, the oil companies and the global manufacturers is intended to suck us down the toilet. To a great extent they are succeeding. Their line is less dependence on foreign oil. Yeah, sure. Truth is oil companies want the consumer life of the combustion engine extended, therefore keeping the foreign oil producers in business at least another quarter century or more. And you think our (US) government and the automotive related industries are only interested in creating middle eastern democracies? Dream on.

  2. Please pardon the website error made on my previous post. I hope that the correction works.

  3. Again. If this does not work I suppose I must try to get a government job.
