Milliband, nipples, hair and balloons

Last night I went to see the recording of Have I Got News For You. It was good, and very funny (although I did appear to be the only person to laugh at one of Ian Hislop’s jokes).

One of the guests was Daisy McAndrew who revealed the true nature of political journalism (or how they try to avoid dying of boredom in briefings).
Milliband was the focus of several comments, due to his latest non-denial about running for the Labour leadership. We were told that he’s a nipple stroker. His own nipples that is (at least in public). He was giving a briefing and sat there stroking his nipples whilst talking.
Another way journalists appear to keep themselves amused is to come up with ideas like sticking balloons to Milliband’s head. His hair, we were told, looks like its prone to static electricity meaning that balloons may well stick to it. Unfortunately I doubt this will be tested.
