Stupid website

So...
I want to go to the conference tomorrow. Being disorganised I didn't book in advance.
So what do I do?
Try to find details on the libdems website.
Can I find any? No.
Where is it? Brighton. That's all I can find.
It does tell me where to go to register, but not much more.
Why not use google maps to show where it is? Infact that's what I did, but by finding the blog post with directions to the pub meet.

It is immensly frustrating. Very few details. Not exactly helpful for a first time visitor.

It would be great to have an online conference guide, covering those things useful for first timers (and others) outside the agenda.
Directions would be great. I know how to get to Brighton by nothing more.

It is very frustrating.

It is at the Brighton Centre which is a huge building on the front. You need to walk in and go to registration and ask for a day pass - take a passport size photo with you (although they can take one of you if you want usually)

"It is still be possible to register at Conference itself. Completed forms should be brought to the Registration area in the Viscount Suite of the Hilton Brighton Metropole Hotel (reached through side entrance on east side of hotel - two minutes from Conference Centre). Proof of membership will be required for member passes. A Day Visitor pass costs £22 (£10 claimant)."

You just click on "Booking details" and that's what it says. It took me three seconds to find it.

Tristan - you are right - I can't find directions or a map either - they usually have one in the agenda - it is possible there was a separate one sent out with the agendas. You can find directions here:

http://www.brightoncentre.co.uk/

If you have any problems when you get there look for the helpful stewards with yellow jackets on.

I hope you make it along and enjoy it!
